Independence beach is the quieter, and more relax near to town beach. The beach draws its name from the historic Independence Hotel that sits atop that headland at the northeast called “otel pram-pul chann” (7-storeys hotel) by the locals and one of the remaining hotels since the colonial period. The beach stretching over a kilometre long and offers BBQ huts, restaurants and bars together on the clean white sandy beach. It’s nice for family beach to escape from the crowds of ochheuteal beach.
